Welcome to HR Hotel Safari & Tours. By making a booking with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your reservation.

These terms apply to all bookings made directly with us through our website, by phone, or via email. If you have any questions, please contact us before making your reservation.

1. Bookings & Reservations

1.1 Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability. A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email from us. Please review your confirmation details carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.

1.2 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking value is required to confirm your reservation. The remaining balance is due upon check-in, unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation.

1.3 Payment Methods

✓ Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
✓ Bank Transfer (details provided upon request)
✓ Cash (accepted upon arrival)

2. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Hotel Bookings

• Cancellations made 14+ days before arrival: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• Cancellations made 7-13 days before arrival: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival: No refund

2.2 Safari & Tours

• Cancellations made 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee
• Cancellations made 15-29 days before departure: 50% refund
• Cancellations made less than 15 days before departure: No refund

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@hrhotel.co.tz.

3. Check-in & Check-out

• Check-in: 2:00 PM (Early check-in subject to availability)
• Check-out: 10:00 AM (Late check-out subject to availability)
• Early Check-in: Available from 8:00 AM with an additional 50% of the room rate
• Late Check-out: Available until 4:00 PM with an additional 50% of the room rate

4. House Rules

✗ Smoking: Strictly prohibited in all indoor areas. A cleaning fee of $150 will be charged for violations.
✗ Pets: Not allowed unless prior arrangements have been made. Service animals are welcome.
• Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please respect other guests.
• Damages: Guests are responsible for any damages caused during their stay. Charges will be applied to the card on file.
• Maximum Occupancy: Please adhere to the maximum occupancy limits for each room type.

5. Liability

HR Hotel Safari & Tours shall not be liable for:

• Personal Property: Loss or damage to personal belongings during your stay. We recommend using the in-room safety deposit box.
• Personal Injury: Injury resulting from guest negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.
• Force Majeure: Disruptions caused by natural disasters, political unrest, pandemic, or other events beyond our control.
• Travel Delays: Flight cancellations, delays, or other travel-related issues.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance that covers:

✓ Trip cancellation and interruption
✓ Medical emergencies and evacuation
✓ Lost, stolen, or damaged luggage
✓ Travel delays and missed connections

7. Safari & Tour Specific Terms

7.1 Health & Safety

• Guests must be in good physical health for safari activities
• Pregnant women and guests with medical conditions should consult their doctor before booking
• Malaria prophylaxis is recommended for all guests

7.2 What's Included

Tour packages include park fees, professional guide services, 4x4 vehicle transportation, and meals as specified in the itinerary.

7.3 What's Not Included

✗ International flights and visas
✗ Travel insurance (highly recommended)
✗ Personal expenses and souvenirs
✗ Tips and gratuities

8. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and become effective immediately upon posting. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms or your stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tanzania.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking with HR Hotel Safari & Tours, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not proceed with your booking.
